Membership and Fees How much is membership? $250 membership dues per season, season runs from about end april-mid october. $50 boat &equipment fee/season for first two years of membership Membership fees and dues may be paid via payment plan options In case of unique circumstances, a team member may arrange for individualized payment options with the team Treasurer. What do I get with my membership? You get a brand new paddle, and lots of wonderful teammates! What about a life jacket? I heard these are mandatory! Yes, absolutely. Life vests are mandatory in practice and on race days. Life Vests must be purchased by the team member. Where do I get a life jacket? REI, EMS and Dicks have nice reasonably priced ones, as well as LL Bean and Target, butt pads in the gardening section of Target. Make sure that you’re comfortable in your vest, but that its not too loose or tight fitting! What else do people bring to practice and race days? Sports gloves – for a better grip on the paddle Wax - Tsunami strives to never request additional monies from its team members for race registration fees. |
